Study on characterization of bio-oil derived from sugarcane bagasse (<i>Saccharum barberi</i>) for application as biofuel
نویسندگان
چکیده
Abstract Lignocellulosic biomass especially, sugarcane bagasse Saccharum barberi sp., appears to be a more suitable material for partial substitution of transport fuel (diesel) than officinarum due its structural similarity (diesel). Besides that, less research has been implemented on this type species. Bio-oil can as biodiesel by processing it further using chemical reactions such hydrodeoxygenation and cracking with zeolite catalyst. Hence, the purpose study is determine compatibility pyrolytic bio-oil produced from sp. in comparison S. use automotive applications. This accomplished comparing oil’s bio-physiochemical properties both The experiment conducted bench-scale which secured catalytic pyrolysis process at temperature 500°C heating rate 50°C/min addition ZSM-Zeolite Thermogravimetric analysis reveals that cellulose reactive lignin, evidenced high percentage weight loss temperatures ranging 251°C 390°C. contents carbon (40.7%) hydrogen (6.50%), well slight traces sulphur (0.08%) nitrogen (0.85%), (Saccharum sp.) indicate conceivable partially used replacement biofuel production. Overall physiochemical reveal shows potential Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry consists amounts aromatic hydrocarbon (26.2%), phenol (14.8%) furfural (13.0%) Biofuel was reactor Measured make diesel fuel.

15 صفحه اولExtraction, Purification, and Characterization of Lignin Fractions from Sugarcane Bagasse
Three-step extraction of lignin fractions from ball-milled sugarcane bagasse (SCB) was studied with 96% dioxane, 50% dioxane, and 80% dioxane containing 1% NaOH at boiling temperature followed by purification to remove hemicelluloses. The total yields of hemicelluloses and lignin were 15.8% and 7.2% based on dried SCB, respectively. In the first step, 5.1% lignin (70.8% of the total extracted l...
